Just Checking
Just making sure I got this figured out. Seems pretty idiot proof. So excited for Russia! Currently listening to the Red Army Choir.

Slightly Offensive but Hilarious...
Yes, these are funny pictures of Russia. They are pretty random, and some of them, you have to look at a bit to understand whats strange. Hint: A staircase that leads to nowhere? Yes.

Testing?
Wow, I haven't blogged since my overly-emotional, intermittently-poetic 10th grade livejournal account finally expired. Ah, the angst... the assumed names... the family arguments sparked by a dial-up connection... Good times.

Getting to Know You... The Master Class

On Sunday, December 10th, we had our last state-side get together. We all participated in a master class with Dmitry Gerasimenko who was trained at the Leningrad Theatrical Academy. We got to tell stories, do exercises, walk tight-ropes, be fish - my, what didn't we do. In the picture you can see people being various species of fish. Well, except for one fully dead fish... But it's OK. She experienced a resurrection.
Rushing into Russian....
Hey guys, so since I know zero Russian, somebody who at least somewhat knows the language and wants a chance to teach a crash course....should sit next to me on the plane. Hopefully the plane won't be on a similar crash course. I at least need to get the alphabet down. Wouldn't want to trip up on letters during the trip and find myself entirely unable to read street signs, and then end up wandering alone around Russia, lost and confused and purposeless and illiterate....I can just see it now. Kaitlin takes on Russia. Terrifying. More so for the Russians, even, than for me. OK, good times, looking forward to living in close proximity with you all and watching a great many plays and making Miss Tosteson stop smiling at every Russian man she sees (~;
